Platform

One Platform. Complete Fleet Visibility.

Moventra creates a real-time digital view of your entire transportation operation. Operators can monitor vehicle locations, status, routes, schedules, service performance and operational events from a single interface. By consolidating information that traditionally lives across multiple systems, Moventra provides a unified operational environment for faster decisions and more efficient fleet management.

Built today

A solid foundation, built and working

Moventra is not a slide deck. The rider app and the operator portal are built and run end to end, including the trip planner, and have been exercised against a real metropolitan network. Every capability on this site grows from that base.

Rider app

Know where your bus is

A bilingual mobile app for riders of each operator's network: live buses on the map, arrival times at every stop, service alerts from the operator and a trip planner that gets you from A to B.

  • Network map The operator's own map with every line; the selected line is highlighted.
  • Buses in real time Vehicles move on the map with their real position and smooth motion between readings.
  • Arrival times Minutes to the next bus at each stop, marked as estimated when the signal is lost.
  • Service alerts Incidents written by the operator reach the rider instantly, with a “my lines” filter.
  • Favorites Saved stops and lines with live data, stored on the phone.
  • Stop and line detail Next arrivals per line at a stop; the full route with its buses, in both directions.
  • Trip planner A→B Up to two transfers, walking legs on real streets, up to three alternatives, step by step.
  • Live inside the trip “Bus in 2 min · 16 s ago” when live data exists; frequency-based otherwise, and it says so.
  • Place search and location Addresses and places within the operator's area; location only with permission, only while in use.
  • Spanish and English, light and dark Fully translated, with reduced motion and screen-reader labels.
Honest data, always

Every bus position shows its age: “live · 4 s ago” or “last known position”. A bus that loses signal fades on the map instead of freezing in place, and arrival times switch from measured to estimated and say so. Riders and dispatchers always know how fresh the information is.

Operator portal

Run the network from one web portal

Each operator or municipality governs its own network from a web portal with five operational modules, in Spanish and English, light or dark theme.

Monitoring

The whole fleet live on the map with the age of every position. Counters for vehicles in service, off route and transmitting without being registered. Filter by line. Vehicle card with speed, next stop and estimated arrival, and an action to take a bus out of service or bring it back.

Alerts

Create, edit and expire rider alerts (incident, delay, route change, information) with severity, validity and scope: the whole network, lines or specific stops. Preview exactly what the rider will see. Published instantly.

Network

Import the network from a GTFS file with a preview before confirming. Edit each line in both directions: reorder, add or remove stops, change number, name and color. Create, rename and move stops on the map.

Fleet

Register vehicles with their record (plate, model, year, capacity), including buses already transmitting. Link the GPS device, assign line and direction, and archive as a reversible withdrawal.

Users

Invite people with a role, change roles, deactivate and reactivate, reset passwords and see last access. Four roles enforced by the server, not just the interface.

Roles and permissions

Four roles, enforced by the server

Everyone can view. Anything not in the table is denied by default.

Real-Time Fleet Monitoring

Know Where Everything Is

Track every vehicle across the network in real time through an intuitive map-based command center. Moventra provides live location, movement, route adherence, vehicle status and operational information, allowing dispatchers and managers to immediately understand what is happening across the fleet and respond when something requires attention.

Routes & Network Management

Manage the Entire Mobility Network

Moventra provides operators with a complete view of routes, stops, service areas and vehicle assignments. Whether managing a fixed-route bus network, an airport shuttle operation or an autonomous mobility service, the platform helps ensure that vehicles are operating where and when they are expected while providing the operational data needed to continuously improve the network.

Operations & Control Center

From Visibility to Action

Monitoring is only valuable when operators can act on the information. Moventra functions as an operational command center where teams can identify delays, deviations, vehicle issues and service disruptions, coordinate responses and maintain a real-time understanding of the entire transportation system.

Delays, deviations, vehicle issues and service disruptions surface in one place.

Coordinate

Teams coordinate the response from the same real-time picture.

Alerts & Incident Management

Know Before It Becomes a Problem

Moventra continuously monitors fleet activity and can automatically identify operational exceptions such as route deviations, unexpected stops, delays, vehicle inactivity or other predefined conditions. Intelligent alerts allow operations teams to focus their attention on situations requiring intervention instead of continuously monitoring every vehicle.

Data & Analytics

Turn Movement Into Intelligence

Every vehicle generates valuable operational data. Moventra transforms that information into actionable intelligence through dashboards, historical analysis and performance indicators. Operators can analyze fleet utilization, route performance, service reliability, vehicle activity and operational trends to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.

Safety & Operational Oversight

A Clearer View of Every Operation

Centralized fleet visibility gives organizations greater awareness of what is happening across their transportation network. By combining vehicle status, location, alerts and operational information, Moventra helps control centers identify abnormal situations faster, coordinate responses and maintain better operational oversight across the fleet.

Under the hood

One platform for every operator

One platform, many operators

Every operator sees only its own network, fleet and alerts. The operator is resolved from the manager's session, never from what the browser sends.

Interchangeable position source

Positions enter through an adapter: a simulator for demos, a transit agency's real-time feed, or on-board GPS units. Changing the source does not touch the rest of the system.

Standards: GTFS and GTFS-Realtime

Networks import from GTFS, the public-transit standard. Live data follows the GTFS-Realtime structure, ready to be published to third parties.

Own trip-planning engine

A journey-calculation engine developed in house, with no third-party licenses, plus street-level walking routes and place search.

90-day position history

Every vehicle's track is kept, with a retention policy, so a day of service can be reviewed.

Secure by design

Encrypted passwords (bcrypt), sessions that close instantly, four roles enforced server-side, invitation-only sign-up and request-rate limits.

Validated with a real metropolitan network

The complete public transport network of the Madrid region was imported from its public GTFS feed: 230 lines in both directions, 4,894 stops and 403,287 timetable entries. Real buses were then followed through the city's public real-time feed on three lines, which is how the app learned to show how fresh each position really is.
